Post subject: What went wrong? ::Dun dun dun::
Despite the dramatic title, it seems that something just disappeared between TJ and Cassie right as they transitioned from Turbo to Space. Definitely what I would call illogical. Things just don't go "poof" because you've flown into space!
But regardless, I'm curious to know what you all think about this. We have some small on-screen indications that TJ and Cassie still had that same relationship going on in the side-lines, such as "Five of a Kind." However, what would you say to explain this sudden lapse and how would you argue that their relationship was still burning underneath the surface? _________________ -Vamp Charisma

The focus of iS rotated around Andros for the most part, and as such, his relationship with Ashley filled the "romance quota" for the show. Which was disappointing.
I think it was one of the things that got cut back, so they could focus on other stuff, like Andros/Ashley. We got to see flashes of it, but I was disappointed when it wasn't shown as much. Even as a friendship, the two had a nice chemistry together and they could've done a lot with them.
I'll say right up, that I'm not a big fan of Andros/Ashley and would've much rather have seen T.J. and Cassie be the "couple" of the show, even if they just stayed friends. IMO, they had a better chemistry.
Another thing, I think for either or both Andros/Ashley and T.J./Cassie, they could've just gone with subtle hints, sort of like they do now, instead of just flat out saying they're together.

I think they were put on the back burner for the Andros/Karone/Zhane/KO-35/Zordon story line. Sure Ashley was brought in more because of her relationship with Andros and so yeah other relationships weren't as prevalant, but they were still there.
Since PR isn't to big on focusing on all the relationships in a season that was just one to many that wasn't necessary to the story.
I liked how they did specify and wished they would do that in the later seasons at times. However it's not like it matters people will see what they want to see and change anything if they want to.
Anyways, I don't think it disappeared it just went to the background.

A background they did't think needed a lot of light unfortunately.
